I’m slowly getting the hang of finger-picking (where each finger goes, hammering on, getting a clean sound), but when I go to barre chords I get a “thunk” on some strings, obviously because my barre finger isn’t doing the job. 11 months ago
I’m the rhythm guitarist, keeping the tempo while B does his fingerpicking magic. At first I only played on a few of my own songs, but now I’m backing Bobby on several of his, backing N on a few of his plus harmonizing on the vocals. B brags about his “Bluegrass Choir” now. Big improvement over last year. Now my Maestro is back from tour and I’m resuming my lessons. I hope to be doing some solos by the fall. 11 months ago
