How I did it: I wanted skater shoes at first, but I couldn't find any that weren't super super puffy, so I went with kangaroos. I went to one store, I didn't feel like going on a wild goose chase, and once I got to the store I found something I liked anyway. Lessons & tips: Be willing to make compromises between what you want and what the store has in stock. Resources: I surfed the web to see what types or brands of shoes I wanted (zappos.com) but in the end it was better to go to the store and browse because a lot of those shoes wouldn't be at the store and I didn't want to buy shoes online. |

i had these jazz shoes that were destroyed!
the bottom was coming off and you would see my toe and heel in the shoes XP
