Fall festival fun. We went one evening thru the haunted maize maze. It was loads of fun. And it beats the heck out of mirror mazes that make you wear gloves now a days lol 6 years ago
I’ve been to this maize right before Halloween for the past three years.

It is a haunted maize (at night leading up to halloween) so there are people in costumes jumping out and scaring you. There is also about 4 inches of mud on the ground so even when you want to run away you can’t becuase you have to be careful not to fall down.
So much fun. We screamed and laughed and didn’t even care that it was raining. 6 years ago
This is something every kid/person should do if you live around a cornfield. I live in Kansas so I’m surrounded by them. And it can be lots of fun. Here are some tips:
take your allergy meds, there is so much corn pollen, hay and dust that they might start acting up
Bring flashlights if your going in the dark
Make sure you go with cool people, because someone people can bring you down because they don’t liek to get lost, which is the whole idea of the maze.
Mand make sure you get yourself a nice hot cup of hot cocoa or cider, its a delicious end to a great day. :) 6 years ago
Created my own cornfield maze! (Must be this tall to ride and no pregnant women or people with back injuries.) 6 years ago
The one I went to made everyone take a map. The first time I went we followed the map all the way through, more like a labyrinth for meditation than a real puzzle.
The next year I hid the map away and we really got lost. I was sure my 15-year-old friend would think this was boring, stupid or “just for little kids,” but we had a great time. 6 years ago
In Chilliwack, BC the corn is as sweet as it comes. At Hallowe’en time, this field owner opens up a cornfield maze and puts on a family event by donation. There a couple of elevated platforms where scouts will keep watch to make sure that no one gets too lost or freaked out. In the dead centre is a special coloured flag that you get only if you make it there. It’s great fun! I strongly suggest having lots of time to go through the maze so you can experience the thrill of the hunt without worrying about being late for work… 6 years ago
