^{I apoplogise for the inconvienence this may cause. Although as a loyal user of 43things I have grown close to many users on this website including uncle enore.
I can see why some saddo would report this goal as inappropriate but Unc. loves his daughter more than he loves himself, which is a lot. This goal was a means of updating 43thingers of his daughters life. The daughter whom we have all come to adore with all the antics Enore tells us of. Of course people are going to get offended by his goals. I get offended by the amount of disguisting fat hairy nudist men on this website, but I don’t interfere. Everyone gets offended at different things. If it was the case of deleting things which raised awareness a lot of my goals could be deemed as cautious.
Well personal goals.
Such as “write a novel” I’m writing about the occult which i will openly write about.
So if someone religious was to report this goal of mine because they disagreed would you remove it?
Loads of people have the goal “have sex outside” and that is an offence. I don’t see this goal getting removed.
And also the vast amount of goals which include people wanting to try drugs. Bad drugs. Drugs which can kill. Are they going to get removed?
If a skinny person joined the “loose weight” goal because you have erased all the pro-ana goals, would you delete that goal because someone with an eating disorder has joined that goal?}

Please 43things. Stop being pricks and start doing research into what you are deleting.
All of us who support Uncle Enore have enjoyed hearing of his daughters life. And we wish to continue hearing of it.
Start doing research into what you are removing. If someone disliked a goal someone has there is a “block” button which could come in handy.

Also do you really think someone who wishes to actually shoot their daughter in the head they would openly write about it on the internet where they could easilt get found out.

This may be the internet, but please start being realistic.
You have upset a lot of your members by the lack of reasearch you have done into the removal of this goal.

I won’t write to city hall but i will leave a nice elaborated e-mail to the 43t staff.
Obviously they have no common sense to know if Unc did plan on shooting his daughter, whome he loves more then his mangey mutt, he wouln’t be openly writing it on a website where plenty folk will see it and take him down before the action is done.

Then I started reading the entries. All he ever wrote about was the crazy antics that she did. That was eons ago. There was never a suggestion that he ever intended to do any harm to anyone. I can think of at least one person here who would go to such lengths as to complain even though he is fully aware what is actually posted there.
Please bring the goal back with all the entries, please.

Take a good look at some of the things Unc’ posts and you’ll know he wouldn’t really shoot his kid in the head! He loves her! His goal was just worded in his “grouchy-old-man” language, and is not to be taken as a serious threat.
Besides, why delete his post but leave up all the suicide and anorexia goals that other people post?! I guess harming yourself is okay, eh? The one thing I liked about 43T was you could post about anything and everything, but I guess that no longer holds true.
Now Unc’ is ready to delete his account because of this! And he loves this place! So can you imagine how he’s feeling right now if he’s decided to pull the plug?!
I hope you’re proud of yourselves, ruining a grumpy old man’s fun. I guess you ran out of puppies to kick.

I don’t know who reported Uncle Enore or where they live, but in the United States, citizens have a Constitutional right to freedom of speech, the press, and expression. Last time I looked, Uncle lives right here in California.

I would think that if there were any true and real danger to Uncle’s daughter, who is also a member of 43Things, she would have reported it herself a long time ago, and probably to the local cops, not to the bots of a social media website.

What has happened in this country when corporate banks can hold the world hostage for bailouts and bonuses, and faults in health care systems can leave people to die in emergency rooms, but a random crotchety old man can’t make a wisecrack for fear of being labeled a “terrorist”? Are they going to come after me now for using the crotchety remark? The authorities need to straighten out their ethics.

Where do we submit our letters? Do we just post it here? If that’s the case, I just did.

Of course he loves his kid. But, where are we supposed to submit a letter?

Letter to the Robots and Our Community:

He loves his daugther very much and supports her own lifestyle. The poor guy is laid up with a “bad foot” and can’t drive his big ten wheeler anymore, so he just reads and web surfs his own opinions on us.

He is a well loved member of your group and it would be a tradegy if he left us. Please reconsider his vacate from 43 things and tell him, “he can’t really shoot people in the head that would be considered murder…”
