apply to college

bcuz my application is not completed and even though the school doesn’t have a deadline, I dont want them to think im not interested=[ if they dont accept me ill have to go far away for college. not that i wouldnt greatly appreciate a small vacation from my family=] but im not independent! i cant be on my own, my art history museum project is already two weeks late because i didnt want to go to the museum by myself. why am i such a failure!?

im really scared. it seems like this is coming way too soon. i still feel like a kid but im so close to being an adult. im going to try to apply within the next month. wish me luck!

i’ve submitted forms to Mcgill and Concordia. Mcgill is definitely a reach… but now i just have to get my school to send in my transcripts.

I listed this goal today, unfortunately and so sadly expecting to procrastinate about this. But Life has a way of slapping whatever YOU’re thinking, right outta you’re head.

...So I get a call from the school. I decided to take advantage and procrastinate no more and I set up an interview with the admitting director for tomorrow! Funny he actually remembers me. Shows just how long I’ve been procrastinating about this. But we can’t dwell on that, as I have an essay to finish!!

I’ve been letting things get in the way. But no more I say! My goal is to apply for school before 2008 is over. I’m working on my essay, but am having a difficult time staying focused. How do you get back into the swing of going to school when it’s been 7 years?!

I need help staying focused., I somehow keep imagining that a school schedule of my classses is just going to show up in my mailbox.

I GOT ACCEPTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY!!!!

it’s done!
now i just have to wait for them to send me things in the mail, (hopefully acceptance papers!) and then i can seriously work on my portfolio. in a way, i don’t want to produce things for it, and get it all ready before i get accepted because it would just be sad to have this portfolio if i didn’t get accepted. i sound like i’m not confident that i’ll get in. i am. i’m just worried because i’ve taken one entry level art class and i did somewhat poorly in it. a senior level art class is recommended. however, i completely excelled in my media arts classes, so that should mean something.

i need to:

finish my book

do my exam

tell the school i’m applying and they send the transcript

apply on the weekend

-draw

-compile portfolio

-scan

figure out how to get a student loan

-get a student loan
