I began looking around my work and figured out that living near work wasn't something I wanted because they didn't have all the requirements I wanted. A few months ago I decided that once my current lease is up, I’m done with flatmates. The only way I want to live with someone is to want to live with them, not to be thrown together out of financial necessity. And while I’ve had great flatmates in the past, I’m ready to live alone and develop my own design aesthetic.

This may happen sooner than I thought. I have a friend that needs someone to sub-lease this summer for 2.5 months. She said I could either get it dirt cheap or free. I am not counting my chickens but you know it excites me!
