I want to thank everyone for their well wishes for my son and our family. It was wonderful and uplifting to know that so many people do care.
Teagan is doing wonderfully and 8 weeks after surgery you can barely see the incision site. His hair is so think and full! At 9 months old, he also is a fast crawler and cruises around furniture. He feeds himself finger foods and makes the usual mess with a spoon. He’s growing so fast and it doesn’t even seem like he missed a beat!
Thanks to everyone for everything!!!

I’ve been away from the computer and out of the loop with this, so was thrilled to read that Teagan is home and doing well after his surgery.

Teagan came home Friday afternoon! Only 3 days in the hospital. The doctor was amazed at the fast recovery.
He has gone through quite a transformation in just a few days—hair shaved off & cool wavy incision done, swelling up & then unswelling. Now he’s just as cute as ever & has gained a certain insouciant sophisticated air.
Warm wishes for continued healing!

and it looks like Teagan is recovering well! He seems happy and healthy despite his new haircut. I’m sure this was a scary thing for you both to go through, but at least he got a cool scar out of it.
He really is adorable and I hope he continues to make good progress with his recovery.

For those of you who haven’t been keeping up, Wild Rice and RoadwarriorX’s newest son had to have surgery today due to an issue with his cranium fusing early. It actually happens quite often, and the doctors were familiar with it. YRush has been keeping us updated on her family blog and Teagan came through the surgery well, as I’ve been telling her he would.
