Amy hopes Boomer makes it through Christmas.
I have been doing okay with this goal, but with all the extra stuff we have had to do to get the house on the market, I have slipped some. It will be crucial to keep up now that we are For Sale!

This new little one has rocked my world (Theo born 6/25)! I took a little bit of time off from the plan while I let my husband take care of me and the house!
Now I am back on track! 1 room per day!!

I am starting off the week with a clean house! Now is where I can start on some of the deep cleaning tasks and the rest is just maintenance! I hope I can keep up!!

I have taken Fly Lady for a spin and cannot keep up as the 35 weeks pregnant mama of a 2 year old! So, I took her control journal idea and modified it to fit our family and my actual life! I took some inspiration from Emilie Barnes (More Hours in My Day), as well.
I made a Morning, Naptime and Bedtime routine. Each has 5 or 6 tasks (make beds, help Eden feed the dogs, start a load of laundry) that must be done on a daily basis, but breaking them up into 3 different times of day makes it SO manageable!
I then made a list for each day of the week, Monday through Friday. One room (or 2) per day… if I don’t get to a task or room this week, it waits until next week. No housework (other than daily tasks) on Saturday and Sunday. Each day has a room and the list of all the possible things that I could do to clean that room (dust, wash sheets, vacuum or sweep)
Monday: Entrance, Front Porch and Dining Area
Tuesday: Kitchen
Wednesday:Main Bathroom and one other room (Spare Bedroom, Office, Laundry Room)
Thursday: Master Bedroom, Children’s Room
Friday: Living Room
Now when my MIL comes to stay after the baby is born, I won’t have to think of things she can do to help, I can just tell her to pull out the book and go by my normal daily task list!
When our house goes on the market, keeping the house ready to show will be easier, as well!
