In tribute to John Hughes, I watched this. It’s great, funny in great subtle ways, but also serious at times. Very good!

Not that old, but I’d heard a lot about it. Great film, really enjoyed it, and loads of familiar faces in it!

Not a classic in the sense of the word, but a film that I’ve heard about for years, and has influenced so many films and TV shows that followed it. They’re the kind of films I want to watch for this goal.
As for the film itself, it was alright, nothing too great, but I can see where a lot of successors got their ideas from.

The first of my classic films for the summer, and it was brilliant! Black and white films always put me off, but any ones I’ve seen, I’ve loved, probably because I’m quite picky about them. This was great, very clever, very funny, and I realise now that it set the standard for a lot of films that followed. Highly recommended!
