so, while this one was a heartfelt want to be healthy and make the dogs healthier, too, it has erupted into a full fledged destruction…of my ankle that is. just a few days ago, took the dogs out on a run, and decided to run in the grass, and actually stepped wrong (half-pavement, half-grass step) and not only fell and scraped everything up, I wrenched my ankle so damned bad that my whole foot’s swollen up three days later, still. it’s crazy, and I’m immobile, too, so it sucks a lot. I suppose that I’ll save the running for the more solid, trusting ground when I’m okay to be on it again. I might have been pushing myself farther than I usually do, but it was a complete random, awful, painful accident, and I just have to get better soon.

oh well. I just want to get off of the crutches.

woo hoo! 8 months ago

i know the dog loves it, so i should keep up with it…and thankfully i’ve got my boyfriend into it, as well. (mainly because i can’t walk both dogs—they usually tangle me) hopefully we can keep it up.

right now, we’re going to try to do two long walks (about 30 min.s to a hour) and short walks around the neighborhood the other nights.

Stella needs to burn the crazy energy 20 months ago

Stella is a 10 month old Staffy X and needs lots of energy burning walks. I am mostly too tired or pre-occupied (lazy) to walk her for an hour each day.
