Frenetik has realised that jotting down goals really motivates!
I have always been a goal writer. I have a personal list of all my goals in my 5 year plan. Each morning I get up and write a list of things I plan to accomplish for that day. It sounds very clinical I know, but I’ve used this technique to keep me focused for a while now.
However, recently I see myself cheating on my goals. If I don’t make any progress, I just leave it on my list for the next day. I make partial progress towards a goal and erase it, figuring I’m close enough. Not really the way my system should work.
I came across this site about a month ago. Hopefully, by committing goals out to miscellaneous strangers it will assist. I plan on setting aside 2-3 hours per week and ensure that I update each one of my goals, even if it is to say “no update this week”.

Try 43 Things

I guess that’s what I’m doing right now.
And I guess I will see if it pays off.

This is working better that the $150/hr life coach I hired a few years ago!

Found the site looking searching Google for “learn how to Rollerblade” Now I am nuts about it. I feel it is exactly what I needed, a support group of people achieving their goal. I haven’t put that I have “done” this yet, because i joined only a couple of days ago. Very stoked!
P.S. I cheer back!

I bought Joe Vitale’s book – ‘The Attractor Factor’. My personal view is that the book is both fantastic and inspiring. However, although I truly believe that we all have the ability to improve our lives using the power of our subconscious, I need to find the time to practise meditation with a view to attracting abundance into my life whilst attempting to reduce anti-social behaviour and crime levels in my local community. See chapter 19, Intentional Meditation Foundation. 6th March 2009

Well…
the whole thing with suggestive thinking seems to be proving itself true quite quick – i found a great place to move into within a week of setting (really setting) my mind to it! Looks like ‘09 is starting decent, gonna have to stick to all that positive thinking stuff, no choice now :)
Making a list of goals helped a lot too.

I’ve got no idea how I got here,
but I’m glad I stopped by.
It’s been only few days since I’m here and I’ve already noticed a positive thing: just thinking about my list helped me reflect on who I am and what I want from life.
That’s hard to do for me.
I never notice and reward my achievements – well, that’s about to change. It’s very uplifting to realize that things I’ve done in my life (and didn’t think much of it) are somebody’s dreams and goals…
Maybe I’m not as hopeless as I think I am? ;)
Go some doubts, but I’ll stick with 43things.
Got to start somewhere, right?

Hi, I joined a company 6 months ago to be the online community manager. However after a few months on the job, 3 other departments decided they too want to lead online community. There are a lot of office politcis and struggle for power going on. The only one who has experience with it is me, and I just want to do my job, but I cannot win the office politics. I wished there was some sort of a crash course on how to deal with the power struggles going on above your level.
