I love this city
How to live in san diego
How I did it: With the financial backing of multiple people in my family and by working really hard during summer breaks. I forced myself to get out and make new friends.
Lessons & tips: It was my first time living away from home, and I went through fazes of happiness and depression. The biggest lesson I learned while living here is that only you can make yourself happy. Don't expect a place or a person to make you happy. It's up to you.
Resources: Being part of a large University (SDSU), I met many people. It helps to force yourself to be outgoing. Remember that most people want to talk to you, but are usually too shy. Be friendly and you'll go far!

I’ve passed there just 3 months in last summer. It was wonderful although i’ve worked hardly and not had fun so much.It was my best summer, holiday.SD is a place where people want to look for a chance to live there.

I moved here two years ago… amazing
our sevear weather reports are.. humm… rain? haha
well worth it, best place to go for a happy change
almost 6 yrs ago i moved from cape town, south africa to San Diego, California! The cities are more alike than any other two i can personally compare. I finished highschool in SD a yr ago but im staying in cape town to study FOR NOW! im not sure how long, but i know that i will always end up in san diego, best place to live! ... so is cape town but it is not the safest, huge flaw!
The weather is heaven, never lets you down. Tons to do outdoors, great family place. We moved from Chicago and never looked back. If you need a big city, this is not. And its missing that feeling of an expansive downtown with classic architecture (though the City’s downtown really is quite lovely and interesting for the size of the City) and of course a ton of music/art/theatre that you’d find in large cities in the Country.
But, if you’re thinking of moving with a family. Consider North County where the schools are the strongest. Real estate is more expensive but if you’re along the coast you get the beach close by too. Need more info on North county? Visit http://sandiegomom.blogsome.com for kids activities, school info, info on things to do.
I have lived in San Diego my whole life and it is beautiful. The weather is wonderful and there is so much to do – great city.
for 4 years. I went to college here and love this city, its got a casual city feel and there is plenty to do. As with anything I eventually got bored but things I reccomend doing: Climb Cowles Mtn on a clear day, take a day off from life and wander around pb, ob, del mar or the la jolla shores; visit mexico (its so close), go surfing, go to pb bar and grill for taco tuesday, wake up early (6am if possible) and wander around “downtown” its beautiful, go to a game at petco park, visit the tide pools in la jolla, comicon (if your into that), visit SDSU campus—its beautiful but i might be biased, spend a day in balboa park and watch the out door organ thing, san diego wild animal park near x-mas..they put up lights and its really beautiful. There are more, but those are just a few of the things i miss.
