move to Oregon or Washington state

Just keep driving North or in whatever direction gets you out of Oregon…fast!

Oregon is an also-ran compared to Washington. Heck, even the scenery changes to the spectacular as you go north across the Columbia. Strange but true, even Mother Nature votes for Washington State.

i lived in Portland for 5 years and it was wonderous.. it was my dream after i finished college.. so i loaded up my camry in chapel hill nc and headed to OR- i knew no one and had no job.. it was such an exciting feeling.. wouldn’t trade it for the world..
traveled around the northwest (mt. rainier is my fave mtn)..
i was able to walk or ride my bike just about everywhere (even tho i did own a car)..
so much more too..
ultimately i returned east for i missed my family
