I tell just about everyone I meet about Donnie Darko and when people are at my house I pop it in. I have only changed a couple people so far…but more will follow. They deserve to see it. It’s a great movie.

I remember walking around with the DVD and nearly forcing my friends to watch it. and i can’t say they didn’t like it. there were some who didn’t get it, but they all liked it.
websaresticky is disappointed she hasn't accomplished many things in her absence.
i totally influenced a couple of people to watch it. They love it. Now, i’m ready for Southland Tales to come out… but it wont come out until like, late fall, early winter. stupidness… oh well, more time to read the graphic novels that are coming out soon.

If you haven’t heard of it yet (like many others), I won’t be surprised. Unfortunatly, the film was banned during it’s opening back at September 2001 due to a scene which was considered too sensitive back then. since it’s release on home video the film became a CULT HIT and has been discovered by many worldwide.
I don’t want to spoil any further details for whoever is reading. Trust me one this one – just rent it or download it, you’ll thank me later ;)
p.s – DO NOT start by viewing the director’s cut version of the film first, rather search for the original version!
