Some dermatologists say that water can help give skin a glow by keeping it hydrated.
The three of these disorders are mood disorders, perhaps stemming from the brain. Studies link depression to dehydration because 85% of brain tissue is water. Dehydration causes energy generation in the brain to decrease.
When the body is dehydrated, in can actually induce anxiety and nervousness. According to the aforementioned site, when we are dehydrated our cells feel it at the molecular level and communicate this to the subconscious as an underline subtle anxiety or threat to survival.

I want to feel the difference in my skin, in my lips… i cant wait to see the difference and just feel it within my overall health… definately aiming towards this goal. I never did like water and have went many years (literally) without drinking it directly…so my skin is definately acting up… im gonna change.

So yeah, I know you’re supposed to drink 8, but I figured I’d start with 5 and work my way up from there.

I have a glass of water in the morning while the water boils for coffee.
I keep an adorkable plastic cup on the bathroom sink to have a refresher while i’m on the can.
I keep a water bottle in the cupboard at work and drink as much as i can each time i get peckish and want a snack during the day… this usually totals about 4 cups or so/day.
For me its all about temperature… i don’t like cold water, so i make sure my water bottle is always luke warm and i leave the brita on the counter rather than on the fridge.

I wish i could remember to drink more water…i was just getting into it, but these days i’m busy and its another chore…
Maybe i’ll put a glass of water in the bathroom and drink while i’m on the toilet… at least its a memory cue. if not a little tmi.
Happy holidays everyone.

really, its a pain…
i’m a little crabby because i actually had to haul ass out of bed for a peerun at 2 am.
I hope that my bladder becomes more tolerant, because already i can feel the difference my lips are less crusty and i get less eye-aches…
drinking water is fun!

Work up to it.

I drink a lot of, tea, coffee, but not even enough of that, and i know that caffine cancels out what fluid they provide theoretically. I survive on very little uncafinated water. It could be a factor contributing to my tiredness, my sallow complexion and my occasional headaches.
I used to drink water with lemon like a fish, and it felt great! I don’t know why i stoped so i’ll work my way back up to about 5 glasses a day, which seems a lot healthier than my current zero and less crazy than 8. Hooray for quantitative goals

5 glasses seems reasonable, 8 and I feel like I”m drowning.
So what’s that like—one at 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm? I could do that.
or perhaps like today… where i woke up at 4pm haha, 4pm-2am. One glass every two hours.
