The tea cosy is well underway but is taking a lot longer than I first thought it would. I found a simple pattern somewhere online (can’t remember where) and adapted it for my little teapot! It made from white wool with green and yellow sparkly flecks in it. Will get piccys when I’m done:)

and it’s pretty sweet actually. just a straight up tea cosy. now i have to go measure the target teapot and see if i can reproduce the results in a size that fits.

i seem to be going granny for the new year. but really, e actually asked for a tea cosy – and how often does that happen? so i’ve done a little research, concluded that a tea cosy is basically a hat with openings for spout and handle, and started knitting up a prototype.

I’m half way there and I stopped about 2 months ago.
It’s a really easy thing to knit; it only took me about a week of knitting irregularly to complete the first half… but then i got distracted.
oh well, I’ll soon complete it.
