hold a koala

I’ve wanted to hold a koala for almost as long as I can remember. Koalas have always been my favorite creatures, and they seem to be suuper laidback animals.
Most of the places that let you hold koalas seem to be in Australia, but I still hope I can get the chance at some point. Occasionally, I wonder if the only reason I’m working toward becoming a zoological veterinarian is because of this goal. Then I remember that I also want to pet a tiger. XD

is this actually possible? it seems out of the realm of possibility but it sure would be wonderful!

Koala are special beings. I actually have a small collection of Koala stuff animals in my space to keep me company.:) No matter how grown you are, you have to nurture your inner child. :)

One of those things, I suppose, that people usually don’t do when they live somewhere, because you don’t tend to do the ‘touristy things’ in your home town. Unless visitors arrive from out of town, of course.

Surprisingly light, and softer than I expected. I overheard the people in line behind us lamenting that they had forgotten their camera, so we asked if they’d like us to take photos, then send them via email. (I think he was an Aussie, but she said they were from Texas.) Better send those whilst I’m thinking about it.

Every time I go to my favorite wildlife park I make sure to go and hold a koala.
They’re so cuddly and smell really nice.
I encourage anyone to try this when they can =]

I want to eat passion fruit the same day I hold a koala, and that’s final.

What a lot of people don’t know is that koala’s will talk for hours about anything. The one I was holding may well have been as soft as a cloud and as cute as puppy, but spent the whole time telling me her views on quantum physics.

they are sooooo cute. not as soft as kangaroos but more friendly. the one i held grabbed onto me like a little baby would. i didnt want to give him back. haha.

I love koalas, they´re so cuddly. But contrary to popular beliefe just because i live in australia doesn´t mean i hold them all the time. The first and only time i´ve held a koala was when i was sixteen on holiday to kangaroo island. But it was so cute and soft. I hope to hold one again.
