How to dress up for Rocky Horror
It made me
incredibly happy 
"Most fun experience ever!"
How I did it: I liked Rocky for ages before I was able to go see it. I'm about an hour and a half away from the nearest showing.
Basically, I spent months planning and creating a Columbia costume [mainly for Halloween, and simply to have a Columbia costume]. I was extremely particular about details.
Disappointingly, it was not finished by the time I went to rocky, so I ended up dressing as a Transylvanian. But when I go back, I might wear my Columbia outfit.
My first night at Rocky was incredible. I made great friends and had an amazing time.
No one should miss out on an opportunity to go!
Lessons & tips: Be extremely familiar with your character. Research their clothing/makeup online. Be prepared to spend alot of money.

I just came home from my first rhps movie theatre experience! I dressed up as magenta and had lot of fun. Where do we stand – on our feet! Can’t wait for the next time.

dont worry about your costume just go and have a good time, does it have safety pins, sequins, bright colors, or fishnet? if yes, you’re good

I dressed as a Transylvanian several times to see RHP, that was almost…30 years ago. Yikes!

We started with bringing the props; rice, squirt guns, newspaper, toast, toilet paper and cards. Then a group of us would dress up, until we almost had a full cast. I dressed as Columbia for a few months that summer. I remember sewing the sequence on the corset. Had such a blast!!! I haven’t thought of those days in a while.

So the Lazarony has busted his mouth open and won’t be able to go for a while. Neither can Kasi since there won’t be anyone to watch little Chooch until the end of the month.
