Become a turnip lord

I will establish control over a small area in rural central Asia. Once there, I will buy all the land and plant turnips everywhere. The people living there will harvest turnips for me in return for food and shelter. Once my rule is firmly entrenched, I will declare independence and establish my own country. The currency will be turnips. The main export of the country will be turnips. My palace will be shaped like a turnip. My crown will be a large turnip- shaped thing.
