I’m experiencing some massive wave of undirected fury over the whole assistive technology lack of availability issue right now. I can’t even calm down enough to list the issues.
Anybody that misuses money meant to help people in need should burn in hell.
People can lead fuller and more productive lives if they have access to technology. People have a right to speak with technology if they need it. People shouldn’t have to suffer because the therapist or teacher that is helping them just can’t give them what they need because of $$.
Argh. I don’t even know if I can go here without anger.

It turns out that my friend passed away on Sept. 19 but his obit was in the paper yesterday. It said so little compared to who he was and everything he did with his life. There were no mentions of his passing in other places that I thought there should be. I feel angry and overwhelmed every time this happens to someone who I know. It feels like their life didn’t really matter enough to mention their accomplishments and kindness. It scares me to think life is so short and maybe we don’t matter at all. We die and that’s it. Bothers me

This is so screwed! Spent the last month with none and then I have to listen to all this stupid party supporting mindless republican bullshit about the horrors of socialized medicine. Wake the f&$k up! The baby boomers are gonna break the bank and the healthcare industry profits for the last 20 years are evil. Yet another stupid USA trick.
Oh well, death by vaccination vs death by flu. Pick your poison

Especially at Walmarts. The clerk will stand there chewing and popping his or her gum like it is a damn contest for the Guiness Book: All Walmart Associates world-wide chewing gum simultaneously. It is like a requirement. They must put it on their job application ‘Do you chew gum?’ If the answer is no, maybe that application will go into the pile that never again sees the light of day. Okay, so they do all their applications online and that probably doesn’t happen. However, it is still annoying just the same.

I bought gas at $2.29/gal. The next day it drops eight cents. Then another five cents. Then over the next few days it goes down to $2.11. I have maybe a half tank and think “I’ll stop off after work and fill up.” So, I get off work and suddenly it is back up to $2.25. Damn.

Ok, the body isn’t completely cool. Yes I appreciate that they waited until after the memorial, but hey—wait longer! Let’s like not even bother. So what if he was gay. Leave Debbie alone. Yes he was broke. Yes het was able to destroy himself with drugs. Let it rest.

This is 1. Not because it’s the worst but because I hadn’t yet
written it as a goal to list 100 inappropriate things I’ve heard at a checkout” Sunday while buying breakfast cereal I learned that the guy at the register knew all the details of how to steal a car. The bag boy was getting tips about how to hot wire. The floor manager at the bookstore had over scheduled people and apparently “someone” was not suppose to be there. Hearing scheduling problems is never on my list of friendly customer service discussions. Don’t these people know it’s all about ME when I’m forking over my $$$

Socks with toes. The most uncomfortable things. I received a pair for Christmas one year. Possible a novelty gift. I tried them on once. There is nothing worse then receiving a pair as a gift. I mean, if you wouldn’t wear them yourself, why would you give them as a gift?

Of course, how else would I walk?
Still, it’s annoying as hell. You simply have no idea…unless you are a fellow gimp.
