inspire my children

I hope that I can instill in my children the desire to reach for their own dreams and not settle for less than, mediocrity as it relates to their own expectations (not mine), and I hope they will see that their parents have consistently reached out for more than others thought they could have and want that for themselves. Not monetarily, but just grasping life in general, with all its marvels, and appreciating each day, each new experience, each newly encountered creation of God, never lapsing into boredom, because boredom is a symptom of laziness.
