I want to thank you each personally, and cheer all these wonderful posts, but right now I am exhausted, and time is bearing down on me. In a few minutes, the alarm clock will go off, and it will be time for us to get ready to leave for the airport. I will be back in a couple of weeks to give some more personal messages (8 days in Banff, and then we’re running around some places closer to home, because he has a little more time off than he expected.)

Anyway, the wedding went very well! We wrote our own vows the night before, and they turned out to be exactly what we wanted. The pirate theme and reception were a smashing success! Our guests all jumped at the chance to play pirates – they were phenomenal! My sister-in-law make a really cool cake, too!

I got home and crashed, physically, mentally, and emotionally from all the socializing. This vacation is a welcome getaway!

I showed my new husband all of your beautiful congratulations and well wishes, and they made him happy, too.

I hope that your father was able t’ attend and walk you down t’ aisle, but I know that you understood if he was not able t’ be thar. I hope too that you kept your man under control so that he wasn’t tryin’ t’ start t’ karaoke even before you said your vows. I mean karaoke be a lot o’ fun, but thar be a time and place for it.
