Soon clean up my computer 14421738

so I am running out of places to hide my cyber disorganization!

I need to just take it out of my messy desk, load it in my dad’s car, and talk to him. I will surely have to shell out some money but I need to confront this.

Will need to watch for sales.

pass my computer onto a guy at work to check it out. He’s doing all the work, but in the end it will get done. I guess I just need to thank my lucky stars.

The error message on my desktop keeps getting scarier and scarier. I am letting it just sit there until I feel the nerve to do my computer clean up. There was a power surge on a Friday night and I was doing school work on it. I was so mad, now I’m just confused and scared on what to do next. I know it will involve money, people having my computer, possibly people having access to my personal information, and the loss of a lot of good photos and songs that i never backed up. SADNESSSSSSS.

How I did it:

• Got rid of all the extra icons and download files all over my desktop

• Cleaned out the Windows “Temp” folder

• Shut off programs I don’t need from loading when I boot up Windows

• Switched to Firefox so I can delete internet buildup files quicker

• Searched my hard drive for what’s taking up the most space and deleted old installers and stuff

• Defragged my hard drive (took an hour or so)

Lessons & tips:

• Switch to Firefox! Way easier to clean

• Check out how much junk loads at startup and dump everything you don’t use everyday

• Clean everything regularly
