go snow skiing

note to self

Would like to go to sky … mainly do snowboard to Domobianca in winter… a nice place in north west of Italy.

I think I can’t because my friends all would like to go to another nice place: Alba di Canazei in Trentino.

Hope to go to Domobianca because is more full of attraction also in the evening..

... are now on hold. My boyfriend and I have decided to hang on to our holiday savings and aim for something slightly more ambitious – visiting the UK and Europe in 2007.

I took my kids up to see the Olympic Torch Relay I was participating in. My daughter had been learning to ski as part of her school activities. She wanted me to give it a try, so I did. I managed to get down the beginners hill and only fell down once. I’ll admit, it was fun, but I doubt if I’ll do it again. I really don’t like snow and cold. That’s one reason I live where I do.

So manythings are best learned while young, and unbreakable. Skiing is one of those things. I think it’s very instinctive, how you have to balance, and use your whole body in sync. Not something that will come easy as an adult, I do recomend doing it though, because with out winter sports, that season would be so awful.
