I feel so grateful for the many people who have been working on this goal~ I thank you….
So far generous donations have come from many of my 43T friends~
The Foundation President lets me know when donations come in and he asks me….”Is this one of your friends?”
I say, “Hmmmm.. YES!!!! :D ~ one of my 43T friends!!!!”
My family and friends here in CA. have been so supportive as well…
I feel blessed and I know the blessings go to each person…because truly it is a blessing to give.
Your caring, however expressed, is welcomed and appreciated~
a very little goes a long way, and you will see when I arrive how much you have done through your efforts.
THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!
Namaste!!!!

Last night I visited my friends in Pasadena… they are Nepali and have a restaurant and gift shop there!
Tibet Nepal House
btw…the food is EXCELLENT…and the shop is like a little visit to Kathmandu, but without the 21 hour flight!!!!
I felt so blessed when Anajana made a generous donation to the foundation~ that really touched me because I know what that means… people are amazing.
I will visit A. & B.’s families while I am in Kathmandu…
:D Fun!

Faustus is in unfamiliar territory!
donated a small amount over the weekend, and that gives me the excuse (/right?) to invite you all to support the Children’s Library in Nepal. You can find more information about it here in Heather’s post.
So please put those bucks in good use, and support literacy.
Considering my current mindset, I would recommend reading the Universal Declaration of Human Rights or the Constitution (any one will do)... so that nobody can take their rights away from them. But a colorful children’s book is perhaps more appropriate.

Karen Today is a good day.
And DONATE !!!
The wonderful h.g.~happiness is making a trek to Nepal to teach English and open a library in 2 short weeks…
I’m inspired by her and all of the people going to teach English and increase literary and education to the children of Nepal. I believe there is no better gift in this world than knowledge and books… so I am shamelessly asking all who read this post to DONATE!!
You can use this link to donate with a credit card or paypal account… or send a check to the address. Any amount will help… so no donation is too small :)
H.G. requests that if you donate, please send her a message with your favorite childrens book, so that she can put it in the library on your behalf in Nepal, as well as a short message that will be put as a label in the book.
Her directions for donating are here
And feel free to join this goal to publicize it! Thanks for your support on this incredibly worthwhile cause. :D

If you are interested in making a donation to the Children’s Library in Nepal you just have to click here:
Donation
You can pay with paypal or you can send a check to the mailing address. Everything is tax deductible in America (not sure about elsewhere). If you could write my name “Heather” on anything you send so they know if came from my friends that would be great!
I am also requesting that you send me a message, or post here, with the name of your favorite books so I can purchase those books when I am there in honor of your donation. I am also going to be “reading aloud” to the students and will choose from those titles.
Lastly, I am requesting that you send a message to the kids so I can make labels to put into the books with sweet words from YOU...
so far I have a few and they are so nice…
something like:
“Dear Friends,
My name is hghappiness and I live in America. When I was a little girl I loved to read Harold and the Purple Crayon,it was my favorite book! I am so happy you will now have so many books to read…”
No pressure…. But it is truly a GOOD CAUSE!!!!
Thank you friends!
