Phlox is figuring this site out woooo
I just started my AA about 2 weeks ago. It’s an online program so i’m having difficulty staying motivated (like with most things i do) But I’m determined to do this. I just need to put more time into my classes.
How I did it: Instead of going part time, I started going full time and finished! It helped me get accepted into a university and I'm almost finished with my BA degree because of this. Read how I did it…

Pyxidragon is gainfully employed again
Until Fall this time, should all go well. I got caught in quite the snowstorm this morning and my poor little car spun out on the freeway. The only thing that kept me from rolling off either side were those barriers with the wires.
Now I need the money I’d put towards my classes to fix my car.
[Fortunately, I was being looked out for. Not only did I not hit anyone else, I wasn’t hit as I was careening across the freeway.]

I’ve done it. The classes are paid for. I’ll have to figure out how to fully finance next quarter, but for now it’s done and I need to pass with at least a “B” if not an “A” to continue the financing situation.
January 5th. I can’t WAIT!

So, I spent the better part of the day over at the community college working on financing. I have two more meetings before I can actually register for a single class.
My “homework” for this weekend is to write out pages detailing why I need training for a job I’ve already had and proved myself good at for the financial aid office. Good times. Good times.

I don’t know that I was expecting this one to happen. But I’ve been given the opportunity to go back to school (with conditions & provisos, of course) in January. I don’t think it really became “real” until I got my acceptance letter via email this morning with a number to talk to a class counselor to go over which credits I get to keep from the last time I went to college.
Wow…
Lindsay is exhausted and in withdrawal

I started college and joined the military before I finished. After that I got married and started a family without finishing my college education. I got a great job and make a very decent living, however, finishing my degree has always been on my mind and is sometihng that I really feel compelled to finish, mostly for personal satisfaction and secondly for promotional reasons.
