So far…I only lost about 5!
How I did it: ...for instance, drinking only water and non sweetened tea as beverages (with the occasional cup of coffee with skim or soy milk) and cutting all fast food and heavy desserts. tons of fresh fruit is a must. also, mypyramid.com has a great calorie counting tool if you are interested. i used it for a week and it helped me come up with a healthy long term diet. How I did it: Well, my weight and I have our ups and downs. One minute I weigh 170 then next I weigh 150. The 15 lbs was when I weighed 165. And that was the goal I met! But then... the wake up call was when the scale hit 190 winter 2007. So I started MOVING again and by October I had lost 50 lbs. Two hours of cardio almost everyday and keeping my caloric intake in check. Brilliant. But I've gained 30 of it back... ahem, yeahhh. So that brings me… Read how I did it…
I have never been overweight. I would say I am perfectly average actually. However, in the last year, I have gained close to 15 lbs and have been feeling very out of shape. I dont want to be skinny, I just want to tone up, lose some fat that has rested around my lower middle, and be able to run or walk up a hill without practically dying of a breath shortage.
Even though scales are the devil to some, I think I should probably buy one so I can monitor my weight. I also REALLY need to start eating healthier. I rarely drink pop but I eat a lot of candy and desserts so those need to be cut out.
Current Weight: 136 (the most I have ever weighed)
I’ve been meaning to do this for three years. This is a realistic goal. I just can’t seem to motivate myself.

so i slacked off…. i know i know horrible. But today, i went to the gym, and im feeling good. Tomorrow I have an appt with my trainer :/. Im going to try to do my booty ballet at least 2x a week along with walking with my bff.

I was sick for the last 2 weeks with a nasty cough, I hadn’t been that sick since I was in high school! It really set me back but surprisingly I didn’t gain too much weight while I was sick. I ate a lot of bad food and didn’t stick to a diet because I read you shouldn’t while you are sick. I tried to still eat well but when you are sick you crave the worst stuff! So I’m working my way back to exercising and tracking my food. I only have 6 lbs to go, so hopefully before the end of April I can hit my goal. (Well hopefully sooner than that but I want to be real about this.)

i started a 72 hr fast to just cleanse my mindn & body…. When i get off, i’m eating strictly healthy things. If i crave sweets, i will just eat an apple or something.

Last year I lost about 15 lbs just running, now this year I have ran a total of 55 miles and I gained 5 lbs!! So this year I want to get down to 125, which is great bc I have always been at 130/135 and I think if I change my eating habits and stick with running Ill be able to complete this goal..

I’ve lost 9 lbs so far on Weight Watchers but lately I have been having a hard time staying on the program. Today: journal and workout for 30 min!!! Annnnnnnnnnd Water!
