write in my journal at least once a week

downstairs to my newly cleaned desk…hoping that when I look through my 43things to see what I can work on (at my desk) it will inspire me to jot down a few notes about they day or the week.

I keep my nice pens down here, too.

There is one weird time in my life that is preserved in these words…and I’m glad, it was a weird time that I would have forgotten so many intricacies of otherwise…but I think of my current life and how much of it has been lost for posterity because I never journal any more.

I think part of it is that I used to do it almost every night, and so I sometimes still try to do that, and then they are boring, and then I stop. My life was a bit more interesting (or at least I thought it was) back in those days…I was single and there was always some drama going on. Now, there is no drama. So weekly is probably enough, but I think it’s important to document who you are at one point in time so you can see how you’ve changed.

Started doing this, and did it for a while, then I got too busy, with two jobs and all, but I’m still trying to do this.

Usually I’ll keep it up for a week or two and then drop it. But for some reason I am really keeping with it. It’s actually been very helpful in dealing with some issues that have arisen recently. It makes me feel good to get something out, even if no one else sees it.

For some reason, I haven’t started doing this yet. I looked over my old blog, and saw countless times where I swore up and down that I would start writing again, and yet none of them have stuck. I finished the journal I’ve been using for about the past four years, a little over a month ago, and have yet to start a new one.

Friday is my day. Last Friday I made it short, but still I wrote. Good girl. Yay me!

Got my enty in, but mostly wrote about hobby.

End of Week Journaling got me to ‘see’ what I want to do with my next art projects. I didn’t plan anything else.

I won’t commit myself to daily journaling, but weekly is doable. Weekends or weekdays, it doesn’t matter, as long as I encompass a weeks worth in one entry.
