"Awesome! Managed to scare my parents + get a laugh at the same time."

How I did it: I got hooked on the fast pace of the show and the interaction between the characters. I just watched an episode or two a night - I wanted to find out who the killer was, so that was my main motivation. It felt good to just take the time for myself, to sit down and watch something wildly beyond the mind-numbing reality TV or same old cartoons.

Lessons & tips: Make sure you're either alone when you watch this or with someone who knows the books - whenever my Dad walked past someone was having sex or being drained, and he swore up and down that I'd have nightmares.

    Finally got around to watching Episode 1 today (20.12.2009).

    Stephen Moyer with fangs is gorgeous, but he needs a shave…but I want a man just like Sam, handsome + caring + kind + strong – not necessarily with the ability to turn into a dog + follow me around (okay, depending on the breed)!
