Holly Wong watching I Love Lucy...what a surprise...
I want to hike all over Thailand. A lot of my friends on Maui have told me how beautiful it is and I so want to go. I just don’t have the time, but sometime this year I am so going!

I did this with a travel company who organise group tours. If i ever went back I would do it on my own. It’s so easy to get around, meet people and get accommodation!! I loved Thailand and can’t wait to go back! I particularly liked the Koah Sok National Park, a beautiful place to rest and contemplate for a few day! I found Phuket a little intimidating for a female on your own and didn’t particularly like Bangkok because of the pollution and people trying to con you – especially tuk-tuks and taxis. I loved Chaing Mai-so recommend the hill-tribe trek! Don’t pack to much because you can buy anything cheaply out there. Don’t drink the water!made me ill!! The food in Thailand is amazing, such good food!
On a whim I’ve booked my flight after clearing the time off with work, and am going to travel to Thailand and Cambodia for a whole month, I’ve been doing lots of preparing and getting things together and this will be my first solo travel adventure, I believe this is something I’ve always wanted to do, travel abroad in a country I can’t speak the language, meet new friends and see things in a new light!
An amazing country. Went for two weeks in April 2008 – the people are friendly, the food is amazing and it is very affordable to travel around the country. Learned about the country and saw many sites. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Thailand is one of the most amazing countries I have ever been to. Wonderful shopping, friendly people (as long as you cover yourself up!), and beautiful sites.
Visiting the hilltribes was like diving into the pages of National Geographic. I dont regret riding in a tuk tuk either, even though those things flip over easily. And Bangkok has the coolest China town outside of China itself.
I was a 21/F when I went all by myself while studying abroad in Perth. I joined an Intrepid tour and would do it again in a heartbeat. Loved sustainable tourism- loved Bangkok and Chang Mai!

thailand was well worth the pricey plane ticket!
thailand is lovely – it has a laidback pace that is not dissimilar to country australia but is nicer and somehow more cosmopolitan. make sure you see more than Bangkok (i would assert that Bangkok is not much of a reflection of Thailand in general) and go to the north if you can. the mountains are incredible and the people are sweet. Chiang Mai is a must, as is the royal project if you can make it that far.

My trip is booked for January 28 – February 6! I’m going to Bangkok and Phuket. No plans yet, but I’m really excited. :D
I was travelling and visiting Thailand for 2 weeks.
I started my journey in Bangkok and travelled by taxi to surin, which is pretty much very deep in the land inside. After one night, I went by bus back to bangkok, where I flew to chiang mei for 4 nights. In Chiang mei, I did elephant riding, visiting big buildings, nature. After 4 days, I went back to bangkok and moved on to pathaya for the rest of the 14 days. I went home with a tattoo in my neck and bold hair… the hair growed up again – the tattoo is still here :-) Great Country!
