But I am not sure how.
I may retire it and put up a whole new goal.
thinking, letting it simmer.

mahinui ever more at home
I am here with my house in my hand, and it is heavy.

The two from yesterday are afraid of the potential downside of renting our house while trying to rent theirs, and passed.
Another couple came by and love the house. It is lovable. Even without furniture it is still dressed in its window treatments and built ins. They want to pay less than we are offering the house at, only a little, but still. I hope they will pay the full rent. But it looks like we have tenants. And they love the house. Love is a big thing. Love and excellence are made of the same stuff, yeah?

Today we met with prospective tenants who want a lease option, but in all probability they will not want to pay our price. I like them a lot, but not enough to sell the house for a price based on what bank owned properties are selling for.
Perhaps they will be willing to do a straight rent and wait out the market. Play it safe. That would be fine.

The wording on this goal got overwritten a number of times.
First and foremost we need to attract tenants for our house in Hercules. Perhaps this is being accomplished in the background as our neighbor works to find roommates and she will be moving in.
If that does not work out, we will need a property manager.
And then there will be the guest situation in Hawaii, our tree house guests. Or perhaps our hale mahinui guests if we end up living in the tree house ourselves and renting out the house again, as we have until now. Life is deliciously unfinished!
