It looks amazing, we patched up all the holes and repainted everything, the room is brighter, cleaner and I think I can entertain there without shame now.

I have enlisted my parents to help me do this over labor day weekend. Insulation, moulding, and re-paint.

I have to put the sound and heat insulation on two thirds of my ceiling, then drywall over that. The next step is to put joint compound into the cracks and holes, once that is done I can prime the drywall and re-paint the whole room (including the floor.) After that I have to put moulding around all the cracks at the edges of the drywall, I think that last step will the hardest part. I hope I can get to this project this spring or summer.
