... is that I have figured out that while godaddy.com is great as a domain registrar, hostgator.com rulez as far as hosting concerned.
People doing this are also doing these things:

finally after years of luring around I fired my employer and bingo…
I am about to start a few websites and upstart my line of e-businesses: diy relocations, semi-crowdsourced real estate rentals, how to make money in online poker, trading, geo-tagged bouldering, funny ways to save – money and your life…
Has just read the Four Hours WorkWeek book from Tim Ferriss. All the ideas I have had since 2 years are just getting back now in a fresh perspective.
Sure, I am going to get this rolling finally. Especially so, as I am not working actually – helping out as a move coordinator, few times a week does not count.
Ok, I just finishing getting back the website in place, although with a little atleration. I have another domain name that I am using!
Just been through the basic design – color and Joomla components in place.
Now the next thing will be the home page and then the two major landing pages to be set straight – for the respective dealing parties.
Cheers,
After another five weeks of lurking around the subject. Here is the list of 3 options.
A) option: I do a basic site with a basic need fulfillment capability on Joomla and back it with some superior marketing. MAYBE SLOW BUT DOES NOT KILL.
B) option: I do a low budget project with a PHP specialist. MOST PROBABLY THE ENERGY I PUT INTO THE COMMUNICATION will kill my motives too early. Constant, reworking and the possibility of loosing money before earning any.
C) option: I put together a nice business plan and run after seed investors. MIGHT BE TOO SLOW AND MIGHT NOT GET A FAIR SHARE. Ok, I am not that quick anyway, but still…
I have finally decided that I do not want to go for the mid-way option. Remember the old marketing anthem: “You will die in the middle!”
Option C would involve meetings and selling the idea that I hardly am after. Venture Capitalists are not fair players neither.

Coming into last phase for the beta phase launch of my first ebiz initiative.
Just loading up Joomla on my new GoDaddy.com hosting account. From the webdomains acquired I will only use URelocate.net now. Will load all necessary information tomorrow (it is just turning midnight here and I have to boulder tomorrow). Interested in details. Hmmm… Suppose you shall visit the page.
Seemingly has got a favourable constellation upon us (will check it later).
I could finally get into my GoDaddy.com hosting and upload a Wordpress CMS. Thus, now – or rather soon – I have Expatanchor.net up and running. Albeit only in beta mode, still I feel an enourmous relieve. After like 2 months of up and down finally it happened.
Now, still a few things I have got left. Doublechecking and redesigining the Expatanchor.net page, probably buying another domain, setting up a separate blog on the same MySQL and a PHPsurveyor for custom surveys.
Well, actually this is not the main domain to do business but a separate channel to keep in touch with the customers I will serve. I have thought it will give me a better chance to stay alerted and make a better design for the real site.
Will see…
When I said I plunged. Well, I was lying. Except, if one could have a 6 hours plunge.
My findings:
- Netcraft gives you the best edge in finding reliable provider,
- if you sit for 6 hours, you’ll get depressed :). At least if you have no chair and no good desk.
GoDaddy was the sixth on the netcraft July hosting reliability list. Thus I did not linger too much when I have noticed that for USD 4 I can have a reliable hosting with PHP and 1 MySql database.
Handy isn’t it.
Stay tuned for the follow up…
OK, I have selected the domain names first.
This only took me a few hours (started at midnight) and then I have secured them. Through GoDaddy.com.
This far it has been working and even my bank debt card worked :).
I have secured three domain names this time, actually dropping 2 out of my basket.
Now, I have to secure hosting and armed with a Wordpress blogmotor I can start my business blog (channel 2) and my e-business site (channel 1).
Then, hmmm…
