from what I’ve heard about her. She came over with her sisters toward this country when they were teenagers. She put her family 1st like more people really should. Also my Aunt Sally. She was also so happy to see everyone. She once was going to pledge more money than anyone for something i was doing in school. She even took care of her mother when she was ill. When I first met Ruth, it was as though we had known each other for our whole lives. She immediately put me at ease and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable about our religious differences during Lent. Of course I would expect nothing less from a Rabbi than a true understanding.

Ruth is erudite. She has a zeal for knowledge, and invests the time in learning. She doesn’t hold her findings to herself though, but helps teach others the truths she has learned. She makes herself available to those who are in need of guidance and answers.

Ruth has keen insight. She uses her abilities to create sermons and poetry. She crafts beauty with words, and plants seeds in others that she cultivates as they grow. She is giving of herself in so many ways, from time to even her own blood.

Ruth is accepting, of herself and others. She leads by example. She opens her heart and her home to those in need, and she loves people with her whole being. She lives her life as she preaches, and is the example of how you can live your faith.
