I hope Stine won’t care that I’m going to pass on the coffee. I’ve never been a big fan of it. I do admit that is smells wonderful as it’s being fresh brewed, but its bitter, acrid taste just does not appeal to me. I love tea on the other hand, and would drink that until bloated. Cocktails are nice too, but I tend to avoid them as they provide empty calories that I don’t consume now that I’m so focused on my weight. Enough about me though, it’s not my birthday. Here are my wishes for Stine for the coming year:

May you remain focused without temptation and not eat after 20:00 each night. May you be able to relax and be in the moment without stress or fear of what may come next. And may you continue to save small amounts as well as big, because every little bit can grow into a sizeable nest egg.

For you, my favorite coffee, straight from volcano farmer’s market. You can also get it at roadside stand by mile marker 49 or so on Highway 11, between Volcanoes National Park and Punalu’u.
