rowanboat is re-connecting
Have been working on the web end of things for a while now – both my website and the big cartel-based shop on it. Am remembering now why I don’t like fiddling with HTML. Trying to keep things simple in structure and design. Keep it simple – my overall philosophy in this whole endeavour. Not easy for me, an over-anxious perfectionist by nature (I’m sure it’s genetic).
It’s slow-going but I’m plugging away at it. Gets a bit difficult sometimes, with my anxiety thing (there are times when I simply can’t deal with looking at a screen) but I do try to pace myself and if I start to feel giddy or twitchy I stop.
I hope to have it all working and tested by next week. I remind myself often that it doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to be clear and to work. There is plenty of time for tweaking later, and god knows I am a compulsive tweaker.
