10 things I still wish were the same

Things that make me happy:
-Being asked for help
-Airplane rides to WI
-Cafe’s
-My true best friend
-Not really having a plan, but having a vision
-Kitchen accessories
-Photography
-Quaint little towns
-My parents
-Learning from others
-Nature
-Not money
-My grandparents (Refer to #7 on the list of 10 – Thanks grandma and grandpa for being real people)
-Lounging around with my best friend
-Having something to look forward to
-My boyfriends laugh
-Warm early mornings; the kind that make you think, “The next half hour is going to be the best part of my day.”
-Seeing other people happy
-That ‘special’ song
-Elderly couples who have been married for 50+ years and are still each others’ best friend, and love life.
-When I start to complain, my boyfriend will cut me off in the middle of a sentence and sing, “Cry me a river”...It cracks me up every time.

JUST.BE.HAPPY.

I hate that this is true.

...If you are around the people who you care about, you’ll make them happy without even knowing it.

Does this make sense? I glanced over my prior entry, and my first thought was “Why are you trying to please every one? Just do some little acts of kindness towards strangers. That’s enough. But focus on those who you care about. Don’t worry about the rest of the world – there is not enough time for that.

If there were ever something with an impossible balance, this is it.
