How I did it: i was stupid.... I didn't really make a goal to ever go but i always wanted to experience the jail life.....and it sucks balls..the staff are bitches and so are most of the inmates... otherwise it was a life changing experience for me both positive and negative... .....also i made some new friends lol Read how I did it…

I want to go to jail only for a 24 to 48 hour period to meet inmates, taste the food, wear the clothes, I really want a taste of what inmates feel as subject matter for a book. I will have to wait until I’m in college though

i spent about 12 hours in jail back in 2002. i got bailed out as soon as i got processed, so i really only spent time in the holding cell, and i never got into jail clothes or spent time in a real cell.
anyway, i’m a bit mixed on this one, jail was in no way fun, but it wasn’t as bad as i had anticipated it being. i had no problems with anyone, and spent the entire timed engaged in conversations.
i think it’s something people should experience at least once, at the very least it may persuade you from doing illegal things in the future.

I lost my job almost lost my kids and my house and I lost my freedom and I almost lost my mind….I hate the police! This is so not worth it. I was there for 100 days, christmas and new years…just got out Feb 28…IT SUCKED!

the policeman or i’d say them as rascals.
they beat me,hostility,with no mercy,
just because i responded their words with a bad attitude.

IVE DONE THIS. I DIDNT WANT OR MEAN TO.I JUST DID. ALL I DID WAS TRY TO WALK HOME FROM THE PARTY AT MY BROTHERS HOUSE. I WAS ONLY TWO BLOCKS FROM HOME AND I WAS SO DRUNK. THEN THERE WERE THESE TWO COP CARS PARKED IN THIS LITTLE PARKING LOT THAT I HAD TO GO THROUGH IN ORDER TO GO HOME. SO I FIGURED THAT IF I TURNED AND WENT THE OTHER WAY IT WOULD ONLY LOOK SUSPICIOUS. SO I TRUDGED ON. I EVEN GOT PAST THOSE DAMN CARS. BUT THEN I MADE THE FATAL MISTAKE OF TRIPPING IN A HOLE IN THE GROUND. DAMN THOSE GOPHERS!OF COURSE FROM WHERE THE COPS WERE SITTING THEY DIDNT SEE THE HOLE, THEY JUST SAW A STUMBLING DRUNK. BEFORE MY KNEE HIT THE GROUND THEY HAD FLIPPED ON THEIR SIRENS. THEY GOT OUT OF THEIR CAR AND ASKED ME IF I HAD HAD ANYTHING TO DRINK AND I SAID”NO” THEY GAVE ME A SOBRITY TEST (WHICH BY THE WAY I FAILED MISERABLY) OF LIFTING MY “RIGHT” FOOT 5 INCHES ABOVE MY LEFT AND HOLDING IT. THAT WASNT FAIR TO BEGIN WITH! IM DYSLEXIC! THOSE ASSHOLE PIGS! WHEN I GOT TO THE STATION THE WOMAN AT THE COUNTER TOOK MY THINGS AND ASKED ME “WHY DIDNT THEY JUST TAKE YOU HOME”. THE WHOLE NIGHT SUCKED DONT GO TO JAIL IT SUCKS. THEY MAKE YOU TAKE OUT ALL OF YOUR PIERCINGS AND IT CAN COST A LOT. THEY PUT MY NAME IN THE PAPER AND MY OFFENCE. (ADULT MINOR MY ASS HOW FUCKING REDUNDANT IS THAT) I WAS 18 ITS EITHER ADULT OR MINOR TO COMBINE THE TWO TO MAKE ONE TERM IS JUST BAD ENGLISH
