Improving my practice of religion and making it a complete lifestyle, has always been one of my concerns, what i’m struggling with is consistency. So whenever i start a practice, there’s a big chance it will fade as time goes. So I wanna start with little changes and add on little by little, making sure that consistency is key for a lifetime change. My first important practice, improving my prayers, and reading the quran every day in the aim of finishing it several times a year.

It seems strange to me how many Christians observe certain “rules/traditions” without knowing the reason for them in the first place.
I want to start incorporating more religious acts (and thoughts) into my daily routine. I want my son to like religion and see it as a comfort not a confinement.

Steve Dogiakos can't believe another school year has started.
I’ve noticed in the past couple of years, that I’ve not only become more religious, but I’ve also become much more moral.
I have had an okay experience with church and organized religion, but I just recently started college. I haven’t been to church since I’ve been here and I really want to go. Originally I’m presbyterian, but I could really go anywhere. Its not that I don’t believe in anything because I want to so badly. I just can’t exactly call myself a Christian when I dont live that way and technically I’m not a believer. Ive been raised to believe in Christ and without something to believe in I feel lost. I may got to mass this week. wish me luck!
I have started to make a small contribution towards this goal. I used my work in the community to find meetings and events about religion, advertise them and invite people to join in and attend myself. It has been very educational.
I have had quiet moments between me and God. I would talk to him like a father. Nothing but good has happened to my life since :)
I want to be more involved in church, yet I don’t always agree with the things that most people of faith say that they believe in. I don’t want to LIE AT CHURCH and say, “I agree with you” when I don’t. I need to find a church that is pretty open, has liberal rightwingers/republican leftists…..lol….I think it’s bs to go to church and focus on the religion, then become a different person when you are not at church. How can I balance this? I was raised catholic and the saying goes “you can’t be a Catholic and believe in abortion.”
Well damn!
So, what do I do, go to a church that is so huge, that i don’t become involved with the church too much and go there to learn religion and then get out before we talk “personal beliefs and ethics”???
I’ll pray on that one!
I have started going to church more often, and in turn I think that I have become more religious. It was definately worth it. This is something that I hope that I stick with
of course it’s worth doing.. there’s nothing better then getting closer to the god&goddess..
