    Jetta 14 months ago

I own a Jetta. It drives well, good mileage, but there are problems. Only VW mechanics can work on it, and they are expensive. They have made the car impossible for anyone else to touch. I would go for a Japanese car next time.

2006 Jetta TDI 21 months ago

I have a 2006 Jetta TDI love my car! First VW I have ever owned. Hubby has had a couple, but I never drove them.

    Great Car 2 years ago

I have a 2006 Jetta. 5 cylinder, 2.5 liter engine. 5 speed manual transmission. Blue Graphite. It’s a whole lot of car for the money, inside and out. It’s not the fastest thing around, but overall it’s a terrific car.

I love my jetta 3 years ago

I’ve had it for almost four years now ~ I bought it brand new with the super duper extended warranty and it’s been great. Any repairs have been covered under warranty. It’s a super cute car, drives well, gets pretty good gas mileage and I get tons of compliments. Go for it!

I love volks! 4 years ago

I had a jetta 1983, a golf 1987 and now I own a golf 1994. Loved all of them. German cars are so enjoyable. No fluff, no gadgets, drives great, decent performance enough not to get laughed at (lol), and really hard to kill. In fact, with all my previous cars and my current one which is quite old, I’ve never had problems with the motor. The problem is that everything else eventually falls appart: shocks, rust, doors that don’t work in cold (lol, gotta love that one, especially stuck outside the car at minus 30 trying to get in freezing to death ;P), radio / speakers, etc etc. If you know a bit of mechanics tho all of that aint a problem, but I don’t… But the car still runs and looks like it doesnt want to give up, go VW!!

Anyhow, the new TDI seems impressive, but then again the price tag is a bit too. I’m not looking seriously into that yet so I’m just speaking as a long time VW owner who have always been satisfied with their cars. Hopefully next one will be a Porsche (haha, I wish).

It’ll be three years in July.

My dad bought it for me, but I’m the owner. :D

    I love my Jetta.

Just bought my first car--a Jetta 4 years ago

At 34 I’ve just bought my first car. A goal I set a long time ago. The car-buying, not the Jetta part.

Get a TDI - you won't be sorry. 4 years ago

A car enthusiast friend of mine convinced me to buy a Jetta TDI the last time I was in the market for a new vehicle. It’s definitely the greatest car I’ve ever owned. The engineering is fantastic, it’s large enough to comfortably seat 5 with plenty of trunk space and it’s still fun to drive, it’s cheap to drive, and best of all you can run it on enviro-diesel soon if you live in Canada!
