I surprised the hell-oza out of myself. Its a secret though. I might have to take this off the list. I’m not sure that I’ll be able to surprise myself anymore after that. besides… the goal is spelled wrong and that has annoyed me for a long time. 4 years ago

i surprised myself today. i went to the gym with 2 of my friends (non-runners who want to run) and we ran a little more than 2 miles. they were tired and bored and wanted to go lay on the mats and stretch, and i decided to run a little bit more. but a LOT faster. i ran a mile in 6:37. HOLY COW! I was muy surprised, and I continue to be surprised! don’t know that i’ll ever do that again, but i felt like an athlete for just a minute – or 7. :-) 4 years ago

so, perhaps i should amend it to read surprise myself by doing something amazing and wonderful. otherwise, i can just set low expectations… 5 years ago
