simplyjane1everyday is birthdaying with Kat, she's 21!!
Started off the day with 2 eggs (scrambled) and a salad of red lettuce with croutons, carrots, and italian dressing. Delicious. followed with a glass of milk, and one of water.
How I did it: Crammed in as many vegetables and fruit into my week as possible and learnt to cook from a set groups of basic ingredients. I also replaced coffee for tea and non-caffeinated drinks at work.
Lessons & tips: Even frozen vegetables from a bag are better than avoiding them or not having any because the ones you bought went off.

Exercise, okay. But resisting the urge to pig-out? Not so simple. I don’t know how, but fat and grease always seems to find it’s way in my mouth. And damn is it good. Don’t get me wrong, I live fruits and yogurts and I eat those things, but I eat the junk on top of that. This is a really bad habit and it must be broken!
i cook ahead and freeze to serve over rice
chicken breast with garlic and onion
pork trotters with ginger and vinegar
i wonder what i can eat for breakfast
i am going to start and have a mega meat loaf
loads of vege and onions and meat in it
then i will be very careful with my supplements
dolphinetta is searching for her inner peace
In order to eat well I need to slow down, plan my meals, prioritize, and stay focused.
All the rest doesn’t care that much anymore. At 36 I haven’t learned how to eat yet. I’ve gotta learn it and feed myself in a decent, healthy way.
bareftinthesnow I'm free! (Now what?)
I still don’t have time to cook from scratch (other than soup), but I’ve suddenly become extra through with my supplements. I used to drink fortified soy milk and swallow a multivitamin whenever I remembered. I’ve now added vitamin D drops and a cal-mag supplement. Meals become more ritualized, with certain bottles being opened at certain times of day. It’ll have to do for now.
i try to eat less and obsess about getting thinner
i had a soupy thing and fibre pills and in a small relapse a macdonalds chicken snack
but i will work on this – smaller meal amounts till i lose weight.
lower calories in total and off the beer totally
