find a home, not just a place to live

The problem to me, to find a home, it´s that until i´m 19 i have to live with my mom… So, how i´m going to find my own home, if i can´t scape from my actual house/home?

I think in a lot of ways I have accepted Phoenix has my new home. Kasra and I have discussed moving elsewhere but, really, for what we are looking for out of a city at this point, PHX is perfect. The weather is mostly great, the city is evolving and growing by the day, the commercial market is strong, the accessibility to nature, downtown, water, Cali., and open land is unbeatable and until we’re ready to have kids, I think we’ll remain here.

I hope I can make it as homey as possible for as long as we stay.

This should be an interesting goal shortly. Kasra seems less content with AZ than I thought and I think it won’t be long before we’re traveling around looking for a new spot.

Sometimes I really feel like moving back so SoCal. I miss the ocean and I REALLY miss my friends. And sometimes its so easy to think, okay… back to home! But, really, I want to live a few more places. The south really interests me. I know politically/religiously I would be pretty liberal for the south but I love the thought of southern hospitality, morals and traditions. Plus, how cool would it be to buy a 3500 sq ft plantation style home on 2 acres with a wrap around porch and tree lines driveway for $350,000? Pretty damn cool!

With both of our careers, this goal definitely has no end date- but I hope we make it a point to travel to lots of different places to see how we like them.

This is a goal that is going to be around for a while. I plan to move to Phoenix in the next 6 months and then it’ll probably take Kasra and I about 2 years until we’ll be ready to move- but we both want out of Phoenix. I’m kind of excited to see where we end up- I don’t really want to live in a huge city anymore and I think both of us would like to live someplace pretty and green.

This goal has suddenly crept up on me.
Phoenix? Orange County? Vegas? My love is in one city, my friends and past in another, a new start alone in the last.

I want to find a place to be content- whats more important in the long run- money? Friends and family? Adventure and growth?
