I’ve been through the entire week without running the dryer even once! I did come close one day though, since it’s been a rainy week here. We had three days of rain and when it first started, I had a load of towel out on the line. I brought them in before the rain started, but they were still damp. I considered popping them in the dryer to finish them off, but instead I hung them around the house. They dried fine, but didn’t have that awesome “line dried smell” I love so much. 3 years ago

Our electric bill is through the roof! We’ve determined that our clothes dryer is partly to blame, so we’re going to move away from using it. Hubby hung a clothes line in the back yard for me and bought me some clothes pins. So far this week I’ve only used the dryer one time for a quick load that hubby needed. With some planning ahead, I wouldn’t have needed to do that. So my goal is to stay completely away from the clothes dryer for a solid 30 days, to make sure this is a HABIT and not a novelty. 3 years ago
