I’m a big fan of nude sunbathing. I’ve been to nudist beaches in Portugal, Brazil, Croatia and Austria. In Austria there are loads of lakes and parks where you can sunbathe and swim nude. The saunas there are also entirely nude and mixed (you get thrown out if you try to go in with swimming trunks on – on the grounds of hygiene). After the first couple of times it stops feeling weird and you no longer feel at all self conscious – everyone else is also nude and there is no staring or overt sexuality. I’ve been sunbathing and swimming nude for about 10 years, since my mid-20s. Fortunately my wife is just as (if not more) keen on it as me. I really would now find it difficult to sunbathe anywhere with clothes on now, and I much prefer the feeling of swimming naked. Not sexual, simply natural.
How to sunbathe nude
How I did it: Went to a beach in Crete, and found that at one end most people were, shock horror, naked. Unbelievable their private parts were in full view. I didn't know where to look, that is until I saw a girl with big br...... Sorry got a bit carried away there.
Anyway I thought this looks fun, so took my trunks off. This is actually quite easy. You just grip the sides of your trunks with both hands and slide them down your legs until they touch the ground, then lift one foot out at a time. To my surprise when I did this I found I was naked, quite unexplainable. Next I went for a swim,then lay my towel down on the sand and there I was sunbathing nude. And guess what everybody else round about is doing the same thing and nobody 'Looks'. It's the only way to swim and sunbathe
Lessons & tips: Find a nude beach and don;t be shy about stripping off. Just do it.

After I made up my mind that I wanted to try this it took me a few years to find a location I was comfortable in. I have never been able to do this in my yard, way to many neighbors and no cover. It is illegal in MN and I have never been to a nude beach so I do not get to do this as often as I would like. Hopefully my next house will have a back yard that no one can see into then I would tan naked a lot.
I went to a local nudist resort in Palm Springs called Desert Sun Resort and got a tan with no bathing suit lines! It was a safe environment and something I will try again.

I’ve used sunbeds before and wouldn’t dream of keeping my undies on for that. But of course real sunbathing is a lot more pleasurable than using a sunbed, which I’d say is only good for pre-tanning yourself so you’re less likely to burn on the beach. There’s been many a time when I’ve been sunbathing when I’ve wished I could lose the shorts, but outside the front door twenty yards from a pub probably isn’t the place to do it. A nudist beach or a nudist park with a lake would be good, so I can tick off “go skinny dipping” at the same time.
I sunbathe nude where I live, there are walls around my garden but I am next door to a tower block. I am pretty sure noone watches, though it’s kinda nice to imagine someone does!
I’ve done this alot at Watson Lake in Arizona. The rocks by the lake are perfect to have the sun warm your body. Lots of people do this at Watson Lake and it is very common.
I did this in a park where I knew I wouldn’t be caught. I would like to go to a clothing optional beach sometime so I can do it without fear of getting caught.
