My stamps are so pretty, but for now, I am letting this go. I have so many other things that mean more to me. Especially since having a kid, I really need to make choices.
I’ve got my US collection under control, but I was just given a bunch of forign stamps, my children want so much to have an overseas collection. We’ve been using AlbumEasy to make the pages, but does anyone know of any good sites to identify overseas stamps? I found www.1847usa.com, an awsome site for id of US stamps, but are there sites which might help with British stamps??
Thanks for the help!
I went to the Baltic in Gateshead yesterday and bought a blank note-book to keep my stamps in. I also got some black mounting card. The idea for the arrangement is to explain what the stamps are showing on the pages that they’re on. I like the page that I’ve done so far, so if I keep it up it should look good.
When I was a kid my uncle gave me a big stamp collection he’d worked hard on, and over the next couple years, a bunch of stamps to put in it, but I wasn’t into it and never did anything with it. I found it while helping my mom move this weekend, and I want to put all the stamps he gave me into it now, kind of to bond with him and show him I appreciated it.
In post crossing there are many people who like to trade stamps, of course this is a cheap way of collecting stamps, but hey it works. If your interested in trading, please contact me.
To organize my Stamp collection and add at least 25 ‘newer’ stamps to the collection this year.
