Accomplished this with a trip to Lake Tahoe – while the place we’re staying is on the California side, we went to a Shakespeare festival on the Nevada side! Thanks, “Much Ado About Nothing,” for helping me cross off another state. My favorite part about (my admittedly limited view of) Nevada is the slot machines in the grocery stores.

Yup, here I am in foggy San Francisco. I love it so far, and the weather has been surprisingly nice. I’m so excited that I get to spend two whole months here!

I attended a Papal Mass at Camden Yards. Although great seats for a Orioles game, they were mediocre at best for the mass. Would love to go back and see a game there…

This state was seen entirely from the turnpike on my way to/from Baltimore. I would like to return and check out some of the historical buildings/ museums and of course, get a cheesesteak sammie.

Driven through on many trips from Kentucky to MN and also one trip from MN to Baltimore. The most time I have spent in any one city would be when I took a wrong turn and ended up in downtown Indianapolis, during Indy 500 weekend…not fun…was able to get out with the help from some troops getting ready for the parade…

I have made one brief, yet fun, trip to NDSU for Springfest. Key memories being $1 pitchers and blackjack tables at little corner bars.

Primarily this has been a state that I just drive through. Being a Twins fan we did make a road trip from MN to watch them play the White Sox at Comisky once. I have also gone with my fiance to look at whippets in Dekalb where the breeder lived.

I am now a resident in Lexington. I am trying to hit all the distilleries and horse farm tours I can. I hope to camp at some of the state parks also. I will be attending my second Kentucky Derby next weekend, I hope it will not be the last…
