I went for a make-over in a MAC shop today. IT was great! THey showed me what to use and then the cost of the make-over was taken off the things I wanted to buy. THey even coloured in a picture to remind me how to do it when I get home and write a list of the all products you use in case you want to buy them another time. I tried to do it again when I got home and it looked pretty good, much better than when I guess what I need to use! I feel much less like a dowdy Mum and a much more like yummy mummy! Now I have to remind myself that the time spent doing it really makes me feel good about myself! 7 years ago

Over the past few months I have been buying make up, experimenting with eyeliner, eyeshadow (that isn’t brown or pink!), blush, bronzer, lipstick …
I like wearing colours and trying to accentuate the things I like about my face. I want to continue to experiment, but for now I think I have definitely gotten out there and given it a go! 7 years ago

I have never felt very brave with make-up. I suppose I never really wanted to draw any attention to myself, I was too insecure to encourage anything that would make people look at me. I feel braver now though, and I could definitely do with some lessons in make-up and give myself a chance to experiment with new looks. Fun! 7 years ago
