    I always start working out 4 times a week, then it becomes 3, then 2, and then lucky if I get in one hour of activity in a week.

    In order to meet my weight loss goals, I need to work out 4-5 times a week. Plus this will make me feel healthier in general. But, again, I can’t seem to wake myself up in the mornings,and by the time I get home from work, I’m exhausted.

    I don’t know what will motivate me to get off my butt and get in some form of activity!

    So I went to the gym consistently atleast four days a week for three weeks and now….nothing. The motivation has been completely sucked out of me. I bought a new ipod to get me pumped for my workouts and it kept me motivated for a while but….Now what?

    I lost my mojo in October. Maybe it was Halloween and eating up more candy than I gave out. I don’t know where the motivation went, but I didn’t work out very much.

    Then I remembered my new mantra: I’m gonna be so fine in September ‘07.

    My best friend’s wedding is in September, 10 months from now. I don’t want to be this same size or even close to this size when I’m in her wedding. Even better, I’m supposed to be on the step team for my alumnae chapter of my sorority. I gotta look good in my costume.

    So, I’m hoping I’m refocused. I did the water aerobics on Mon and Wed. I didn’t work out on Tuesday, but amazingly, I only had one (not completely healthy meal), and I drank coffee and green tea for most of the day. I did pretty well. I hope I’m back. One way to tell is if I make it to the 8:30 am step + abs class on Thanksgiving Day! Then, I’m off on Friday, so I can go to another morning or evening class. I gotta get back on my game! November is almost over!!!

    I’m reading this, and I know I gotta step the game up. It’s great that I’m working out, but I gotta lose more than what I’m doing. I’m okay, but I could be doing so much better. I do have on a pair of the worst jeans ever, and they fit looser than they ever have. That feels good. Just knowing that is keeping me somewhat motivated. I have a wedding to be in come September 2007, and I want to look fantastic in the pictures.

    At least I’ve worked out 3 times already, and I’ll make it five on Friday and Saturday.

    Last week, I worked out 8 times in 7 days! Sounds like I’m doing Oprah’s boot camp because she demands that participants work out 8 times in a week. I even worked out 9 of 10 days, with 8 days being consecutive. My jeans are loose, and I’m just doing the damn thang.

    If I keep this up through August, I’ll consider this goal accomplished.

    I still had to take a break from working out because it seemed that my body was demanding rest. I’ll be back at the workout despite the busy week ahead.

    It’s Goin Down…at the gym and around my neighborhood. I’m working out baby!

    I had to work out twice on Monday. 9 am water aerobics was eventually followed by way too much of the huge chocolate cake I received after my Sunday dinner at a local Cajun restaurant. The last portion of the cake is still in the fridge. After eating all of that cake with milk while watching Oprah’s show on her weight loss boot camp, I decided to do a second work out. I walked and jogged for about 30 minutes. The cool part is that I’ve made a resolution that at least 10% of any walking must include jogging. I do pretty well with that because I enjoy it so much!

    So, I’ve worked out FIVE times in 4 days. I’ll be at some workout class somewhere on Thursday and back for water aerobics on Friday.

    Wed = 9 am Water Aerobics
    Thur = 8 pm Kickbox Cardio (the instructor kicked my arse)
    Fri = 9 am Water Aerobics

    Tomorrow…who knows, but I’m not slacking back off. I actually regained some weight. It’s gotta come off. I also have to quit these bad eating habits. At least I cooked a pretty decent meal, and I ate it within 2 hours of completing my workout. (That’s from Oprah’s “Get With the Program”.)

    Back to the goal….I’m like Big Boi and that Kryptonite: I’m on it.

    I didn’t work out at all last week! I was busy preparing for an event, plus it was 4th of July weekend, and I went out of town on a long driving trip.

    I’m getting back on the ball this week because I really value my jeans being looser. I can breathe in these jeans when they are zipped. I couldn’t even zip them before May. I’m looking forward to them falling off eventually.

    This past week, I worked out for 5 days instead of 6, but that’s still great! I think that I will call this a habit if I stick to at least 4 days by the end of June. I have some goals to accomplish.

    I worked out 6 days last week, too, but I’m a little off this week. I worked out on Sunday, but my body was sore from Kickbox Cardio. I took a two-day hiatus, and I mopped the hell out of the floors in my apt. on Wednesday. I’m having difficulties on Thursday because I missed the class that I really wanted to take. I’m still going to do something, even if it’s home with On Demand Kickbox Cardio again, but I don’t feel right leaving this many days without working out. I have a wedding to be in next September. I also just want to look and feel my best. I’m gonna make it happen!
