A doctor...without a border.. 9 months ago

I finally decided to stop running away with ambition in my dreams.I finally am making and preparing the path to become a doctor..I am almost there…haha..many years off..or to go,but nevertheless I believe that to all who made the bold mark of posting this ambition on your personal 43 things list..We are alot further than some who just think and not profess.

Going to Colorado 3 years ago

I ended up getting into four medical schools and have chosen to go to my state school: The University of Colorado School of Medicine!!! Orientation starts on August 7 so I am trying to pack in a lot of time with my son this summer. I am nervous, anxious and excited all at the same time!

I’ve always been unsure about what I wanted to do with my life, but the one constant that’s always been in the back of my mind is to become a doctor. So I’ve finally decided, “Why not?!”. I’m 21 in two days and I need to stop being lazy and get going with my life!

As for DWB, I saw an episode of ER once and saw one of the characters go there and it looked like something I wanted to do, and as flighty as it sounds I want to do it.

Step one: get into medical school 3 years ago

I was accepted this year to The University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. I have a few more interviews as well, but it looks more and more like Iowa it will be.

I am 33 years old, so I will be 41 when I am done with residency and can actually start DWB, but I think about it all the time.
